Gas Appliance Service

Chimney Cricket offers a full range of gas appliance service. Gas appliances need to be inspected and verified annually for proper preventative maintenance.

The use of gas hearth appliances has dramatically increased in the last 25 years, fast approaching the number of wood-burning fireplaces in US homes.  The improved availability, convenience, efficiency, along with the attractive styling and realistic flames available today, make gas hearth units extremely desirable. Unfortunately, these units are often unfamiliar to HVAC service technicians. Chimney Cricket’s staff has worked in the research, design, testing, and training on gas appliances. Call us today to have your gas hearth appliance inspected and serviced by our knowledgeable technicians.

The convenience and relative cleanliness of a gas unit can lead many to forget about regular maintenance though. Gas units can become a nuisance and even dangerous if not maintained properly. Annual inspection and maintenance is recommended by all gas fireplace and stove manufacturers. Some common issues include soot and dust accumulation, loose connections, pilot malfunctions, defective valves, bad modules in electric ignition units, cracked glass, and deteriorating logs. Let our experienced technicians save you time and expense with an annual service contract.

Keep your family safe and improve your hearth experience.
